The Story:
This little story is about a Project Manager who has to choose between 'getting the job done', on the one hand, and fairness to other legitimate interests on the other. How far should a public sector manager go in satisfying the Minister’s need to 'get the job done', and how far should he or she try to accommodate other competing interests - for example community consultation, heritage and environment values, and abiding by the letter, or even the spirit, of the law...?
