The Story:
This story is about a professional auditor, who discovers — by accident — some old information on an old file, which could point to a potential health problem for the community. But making this information public could be very inconvenient for the Government she works for, and it could be embarrassing for her organisation.
Her professional judgement tells her that she should take a broad view of the risks, 'in the public interest'. But the boss wants her to interpret her job requirements narrowly, also 'in the public interest'...
